Every child deserves the opportunity to discover their potential, believe in themselves, and build a bright future. At Boys & Girls Clubs of Merced County, we believe that greatness exists in every young person. With the right support, encouragement, and opportunities, they can achieve more than they ever imagined.
We give kids a safe place to learn, grow, and succeed.
Since 1993, Boys & Girls Clubs of Merced County has partnered with families, schools, businesses, and community organizations to create opportunities for local youth. Through academic support, leadership development, athletics, STEM, arts, and workforce readiness, we help children and teens build the skills, confidence, and character they need to succeed in school, prepare for careers, and navigate life.
Just as importantly, we provide caring relationships and a sense of belonging. We want every young person who walks through our doors to know they matter, their voice has value, and their future is full of possibilities.
As Chief Executive Officer, I am committed to building on our legacy while expanding opportunities to reach more young people across Merced County. Our vision is to create brighter futures not only for the youth we serve today, but for generations to come.
We cannot do this work alone. We need you.
Parents, educators, community leaders, businesses, donors, and volunteers all have a role to play in helping our youth thrive. Your support can provide access to enriching programs, connect young people with mentors, open doors to career opportunities, and help us build the resources and facilities our growing community needs.

Our goal is to help our youth reach their full potential by ensuring they have access to the tools they need to pursue greatness. WHERE WE SERVE
Boys & Girls Clubs of Merced County serves youth and families in the cities of Merced, Planada, Gustine, and Los Banos. These cities are home to the next generation of leaders.
WHY WE EXIST
The Boys & Girls Club of Merced County provides a positive, healthy learning environment for children, and it’s what we’ve done locally since 1993. With each year that passes, our Club curriculum takes progressively longer strides toward strengthening the academic aptitude, physical fitness, health awareness, and career ambitions of our members, preparing them to graduate high school with a plan for their futures. Today, the youth of Merced County are growing up with extraordinary opportunities, some of which also present uncharted risks. With more than 80,000 youth under the age of 18 within our reach in the County, we are called to do everything we can to help as many as possible reach greatness.
