a time everyone can participate!
Every year the Boys & Girls Club of Merced County hosts community events, fundraisers, and opportunities raise awareness around the needs, interests, and resources in our community!
Below is a list of our annual events and information about each event. Each year dates, times, and locations will be updated when information is available.
Day for Kids
In early to middle of September each year, the Boys & Girls Club of Merced County looks to bring awareness to the accomplishments and achievements of our community’s youth. In year’s past, the Club has hosted community health & wellness fairs, family activities and games, and free food to all its participants.
Trunk or Treat
As it seems to be one of everyone’s favorite times of the year, Halloween Night at the Boys & Girls Club of Merced County is a fun and safe way to spend your spooky night with the family.
Each year we celebrate with ‘Trick or Treating’ but with a twist, our Trunks. Vendors, Families, Organizations, and the Community make their trunks available to hand out candy to all!
with Live & Silent Auction
As a part of our history, the Club was built from the heart of our Board and their annual efforts to hosting our Annual Live & Silent Auction Dinner during the spring. Typically held in April, the Dinner is the Club’s largest fundraiser event where we recognize youth, board members, staff, and our community for their amazing work and support in changing the lives of our community’s youth.
Every year towards the end of Summer and the beginning of Fall, the Club puts resources and efforts specifically to bringing awareness around its services and resources to families and their children during the academic school year. From raising funds for school-year scholarships, promoting the Club’s services to families, and identifying the interests and needs of our community, the Club is determined to serve the Merced County communities at a greater and more effective capacity.
Murder Mystery Dinner
With our Inaugural Murder Mystery Dinner in the books, the Club has decided to continue this night of fun and mysterious dinner to continue to bring awareness to our cause and our impact to raise resources towards further impacting our community’s youth.
This year’s event will be hosted at the Clubhouse in the early to middle of September timeframe. Information about sponsorship, tickets, and more will be made available in May to June.
End of the Year Campaign
At the end of each year, the Club makes its final push to raising resources for our community, its youth, and their families through the Boys & Girls Club of Merced County’s services and programs.
Whether you are a part of a business, an organization, or simply just someone who wants to give back, do think twice but to support your local Boys & Girls Club. All donations are tax-deductible based on the year donated.
