Rosa Kindred-Winzer
Board President
Rosa Kindred-Winzer retired after nearly 30 years with the City of Merced, where she worked in human resources, employee benefits, and risk management. A longtime board member of the Boys & Girls Club of Merced County, she brings her deep public service experience to support programs that help local youth and their families thrive.

Jerome Rasberry
Board Vice-President
Jerome Rasberry Jr. is an experienced youth mentor and outreach specialist with a background in program coordination, community engagement, and behavioral health services. He brings a strong commitment to youth development through his work in restorative justice, gang prevention, and support services for at-risk youth in Merced County.

Donna Alley
Board Treasurer
Donna Alley spent over 35 years serving the youth of Merced County, including 15 years as Superintendent of Le Grand Union High School District, where she was known for her dedication, leadership, and heart for students. Now retired, she continues that lifelong mission as a committed board member of the Boys & Girls Club, uplifting and supporting young people in our community.

Corbett Browning
Board Member
Corbett Browning is a civil litigation attorney with decades of experience in employment, business, and public entity law, and currently serves as City Attorney for Waterford. A longtime supporter of youth programs, he has served on the Boys & Girls Club of Merced County board for over 20 years, including as past president.

Syreeta Bolton
Board Member
Syreeta Bolton brings over 15 years of administrative and executive leadership experience across nonprofit, corporate, and membership-based organizations. Now serving as CEO of the Merced County Association of Realtors®, she continues to support her community through her deep knowledge of operations, finance, and service to youth and families

Rene Gutierrez
Board Member
Rene Gutierrez is a regional transportation planner with the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission and a former small business owner in Merced. He brings a strong background in community leadership, marketing, and outreach, with past service on the Merced County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, local school advisory committees, and transportation planning boards.

Samantha Thompson
Board Member
Samantha Thompson brings extensive experience in early childhood education, policy, and advocacy, focusing on equity for Black, Indigenous, and other children of color. As Deputy Director of Woman That Makes Things Happen and co-founder of Black Californians United for Early Care and Education, she leads efforts to support educators, shape policy, and improve learning outcomes across California.

Moe Jawad
Board Member
Over the past decade, Moe Jawad has rehabilitated hundreds of homes, commercial buildings, and multi-family properties—using real estate to create opportunity, revitalize neighborhoods, and support long-term investment. A former President of the Merced County Association of Realtors and current County Planning Commissioner, Moe is driven by a simple goal: to make a lasting, positive impact on the communities he serves, one project at a time.

Dr. May Moua brings over 25 years of leadership experience in education, program development, and organizational management. At the Merced County Office of Education, she led major initiatives—including the ASSETS after-school program, Come Back Charter School, and a Dual Language Immersion initiative—while securing multimillion-dollar funding to expand student services. Her work reflects a deep commitment to ensuring all young people have access to meaningful learning opportunities and the support they need to thrive.
